We’re building an interdisciplinary team of scientists that use biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, material science, and theoretical approaches to define the molecular mechanisms that regulate cell signaling on intracellular membranes. We are actively recruiting researchers for the following positions:
Graduate Students:
If you’re currently enrolled in the Biology or Chemistry/Biochemistry graduate programs, please contact Scott to discuss potential rotation projects for the 2023-2024 academic year. Students interested in attending the University of Oregon for graduate school are encouraged to apply through the Biology or Chemistry Department websites.
Postdocs:
We are actively recruiting postdocs that are interested in advancing current projects and developing their own projects to become an independent investigator. Please email Scott your CV, references, and a brief description of the research you’re excited to pursue at UO.
Research Assistant/Technician:
We are actively hiring scientists interested in pursuing independent research that builds off the core research interests of the Hansen lab. Previous research experience in biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology is desired. Please email your CV, cover letter, and references.
Undergraduates:
If you’re interested in pursuing research in our lab, please email a copy of your unofficial transcript, resume/CV, and a description of your research and career ambitions.
Please send inquiries to Scott Hansen (shansen5[at]uoregon.edu).
