Welcome to the UO Global Studies Institute China Working Group page!  The GSI, part of the Office of International Affairs, works with faculty, staff and students from across the UO and the wider community to help develop and implement UO international engagement strategy in key regions and countries of the world.  Whenever possible, we partner with academic units responsible for teaching, research and outreach in key regions/countries.

The China Working Groups support our efforts to enhance all aspects of global engagement in China, including but not limited to:

• UO faculty research and academic collaboration in China
• Study abroad and international internship opportunities for UO students in China
• Recruitment of students from China to attend UO
• Scholarships for study abroad/internship in China and for students coming to UO from China
• Establishment and management of formal partnership agreements in China
• Fundraising to support UO engagements in China
