Apply for the Peace Corps Prep Certificate

Application Overview

Students must apply for Peace Corps Prep in order to ensure that they understand all the requirements and have a plan for meeting them in a timely manner, and to guarantee that they have met with a Peace Corps Prep advisor.

Application is not binding! That is, you will not be added to the minor or the certificate until after you have met with an advisor and verified that you wish to add the minor, the certificate or both.  But applying is the best way to guarantee that you understand all the requirements and how best to meet them, and it will automatically give you a meeting with the program advisor.

Fill out the application to the best of your knowledge, and don’t worry if you make mistakes or change your plans.  You can discuss the details when you meet with an advisor.

Application Deadline?

There is no deadline; applications will be accepted through the end of the student’s last term before graduation (i.e., for Spring 2024 graduation, you must apply by the end of winter term 2024).

Application Review & Notification

After students have submitted their online application, a Peace Corps Prep advisor or the Director will reach out to them within two weeks to make an appointment to discuss their plans.
