I think that the people you interviewed made a good point about how food could be a creation and in our society food is less appreciated because of the abundance of food we have nowadays. I think that food is a natural essence to the human body and the art of food should be just limited to the eating process itself. When you are sharing food with your family, you could be enjoying the art of tasting food and along with the visual impressions art has, you are getting a very comprehensive experience of art. I admit that everyone has a different definition of art and the important thing is the cultural and historical value within food as you side. Americanized Asian food, for instance, is a very interesting result of the fusion of cultures and although you couldn’t decide if it is art or not, you still demonstrated a very critical perspective to think about food.
