A week after I got my universe skin tear tattoo, I was back in the shop. I just thought my chest looked really weird with one pectoral bare and all of the other pieces of art on my torso. I went on a tattoo date with my friend Brittany. Brittany saw someone with a tattoo that said ‘You Must Love Yourself First’ in Arabic going along the top of their collarbone, and she liked it so much that she decided to get it herself, but she shortened it to just ‘Love Yourself.’-2

Her tattoo only took like twenty minutes to complete, which is very common timing for quote/scripture tattoos. Someone came into the shop while we were in there who happened to be in a rush, so I let her go after Brittany and before me. (same artist) I honestly didn’t know exactly what I wanted when I made the date with Brittany, I just knew I wanted something that I thought was really cool and that I wouldn’t be mad at myself about getting later on in life. Then it hit me; dragons are super rad. No one messes with a dragon. I didn’t want some crazily colored, majestic looking thing on my chest, but I didn’t want something super simple either. I found an image on the internet and modified it a little bit with the artist, and this is what I ended up with. -6

I was very satisfied with the way we altered the original image of the dragon. It ended up not too simple, but not overly exaggerated in any way whatsoever. I love my dragon tattoo, and i even slanted it ever so slightly so that my pectorals match in a way.
