> Tuition Voucher Program

We value the generosity, advocacy, and professional expertise of the many Cooperating Professionals who mentor our licensure candidates. In addition to a UO stipend program, the University provides partner districts with a Reduced Tuition voucher, based on the number of licensure candidates placed with the district in clinical supervision.

The UO reduced tuition voucher privilege program is outlined in the UO’s clinical placement affiliation agreement. Reduced tuition vouchers are issued to partner district Human Resources offices for promotion and distribution at the end of each term.

To redeem a reduced tuition voucher, district employees will need to request a voucher card or digital code from their HR office, register for a UO course(s), and use the link below to apply for a reduced tuition. Applications must be received at the beginning of the academic term in which the privilege is to be applied.

Note: Effective April 26, 2024, vouchers cannot be used toward the following Educational Leadership programs (DEd, EdS, and MEd in Educational Leadership, Principal License, or Professional Administrator License). Candidates admitted to the DEd program prior to April 26, 2024, will be able to use vouchers through summer of 2027, or until completion of the program-whichever is sooner. Candidates admitted to any other Educational Leadership programs prior to April 26, 2024, will be able to use vouchers through summer of 2026, or until completion of the program, whichever is sooner.

The UO Budget and Resource Planning office maintains a list of programs that are excluded from the tuition voucher program.  That list can be found on p. 21 of the Policies on Tuition, Mandatory Enrollment Fees, and Other Charges, Fines, and Fees. Vouchers cannot be used for these programs.
