Guiding Ducklings to a College Degree Wing Ng, a student Ambassador for the University of Oregon, pays for his college tuition by giving campus tours to prospective students. Father and daughter, Chris and Carle Hammel, drove from Canada to tour colleges in the Pacific Northwest. Ng is a senior from Beaverton, Oregon, majoring in psychology. This is his first year in the Ambassador program. Water is essential for Ng to stay hydrated and give the best tours possible. The tour is 2.1 miles and lasts 90 minutes. Ng takes a photo of the Hammels in front of the iconic “O” at the Lillis Business Complex. Business administration is one of the top three most popular majors at the University of Oregon. Ng describes the cost of tuition and how to secure scholarships outside of Oregon Hall, home to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. By: Rian Rasubala
