Kathy Vos spends every weekend cleaning the exotic birds she houses at her foster home in Springfield, Oregon. Vos, a board member of the Exotic Bird Rescue of Oregon, says she hopes to one day open a bird sanctuary in the community as a means of accommodating more birds in need of a safe home.
