Assignment Description:

Part I – Theory

1. Read  – the ADI materials – browse the website
2. Define – What is arts-based civic dialogue/engagement
3. Apply –  What are some ADI projects that are exemplars? What characterizes these projects as ABCE

Part II – Praxis

1. Find/identify  one local event or project; it can be one that you are participating in already, or that you attend during the week, or one that you are curious about.
2. How would you add an ABCE element to it? –Describe goals, outline your project design, and imagine strategies you might incorporate in developing it; who would you include (who needs to be at the table?), what might be some challenges/obstacles? What would be potential benefits?
