Monica Nunan, education coordinator for Safe Ride, is currently a senior at the University of Oregon. Safe Ride is an organization run by students, for students. The purpose of Safe Ride is to offer a safe and accessible alternative to getting home late at night. They provide nearly 15,000 rides a year and are a free assault prevention service open to UO students, faculty, and staff.
