1.     What did you learn about yourself (in terms of your leadership style)?

I learned that I am a head first type of person. I like to just go for it and not really make a plan. I like to experience the things so I can learn from them as I go, kind of like trial and error.

2.     Describe a time in the past when you’ve demonstrated this leadership style.

Back in middle school we were given the task to build a bridge out of tooth picks and my group was drawing up ideas. I was so anxious to start I just said lets worry about the detailed details later lets just start somewhere. We ended up having one of the strongest tooth pick bridge.

3.     How can you leverage your style so that you can succeed in the future?

I can leverage my style by hanging around people that have different leadership skills so they can help me include other leadership skills within mine.

4.     What is a drawback (or consequence) of this style and what can you do to overcome it.

My drawback is that I don’t sit down to think about all the possibilities that might arise when I do decide to pursue. This could be a problem because I could run into big problems that could have been avoided.
