The University of Oregon has a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Section 333 Exemption to allow unmanned aircraft systems operations. Assistant General Counsel Bryan Dearinger applied for an exemption with assistance from Associate Professor and Science Librarian Dr. Dean Walton, and Exemption No. 13093 was approved on October 2, 2015.
