The DREAM Lab offers various types of consultations that aid faculty and students in how to create and bring digital technologies into their scholarly practice.

Research Grant Partnership & Collaboration Selection Criteria

• Projects that have social change missions and values
• How much impact projects have on the social good
• Projects are publicly available and have the ability to be shared
• Library collaborators are viewed and respected as equal partners
• How early you reach out to us for partnership; we prefer not to apply for grants less than 1 to 2 months in advance
• The interested party’s ability to meet regularly regarding project design and implementation
• Supporting UO Libraries’ work through grant budgets, student positions, and/or in-kind support
• Highlighting student labor on acknowledgement and/or about pages
• The need for development work, e.g. custom digital tool and platform development v.s. use of UO enterprise technology solutions
• Complying with institutional, state, and federal requirements, e.g. IRB, FERPA, Intellectual Property Right Agreements, etc.
• UO Libraries’ current capacity for digital research partnerships and collaborations

Teaching Innovation Partnerships and Collaborations

Are you a UO instructor who wants to bring digital methodologies and projects to your classroom? Talk with the DREAM Lab early and often if you want to collaborate and partner on a digital aspect of a classroom project that brings digital literacy to your students.

There are 3 teaching innovation partnership & collaboration levels. The one selected for a teaching partnership and collaboration depends on an instructor of record’s teaching needs and the level’s description and criteria. What level is selected is determined through a required teaching consultation with a library and information scientist before collaborations and partnerships are designed.

A Digital Methods Consultation with library personnel is required. Schedule one through the consultation request form.
