WHY I CAME TO THE UO AND HOW I CHOSE MY MAJOR
I chose the University of Oregon for its faculty and the opportunity for a funded MFA program.

UNIQUE QUALITIES I BRING TO MY STUDIES
I come to the program with a non-art background in art graduate program, which I think it pretty unusual.

MY INFLUENTIAL PROFESSORS
Stacy Jo Scott, Assistant Professor of Art, allowed me to learn to make the art that I cared about and not things that were expected of me.

MY GREATEST LEARNING EXPERIENCE AT UO
My greatest learning experience at UO has been to work independently and embrace the things I actually care about in my field.

AFTER GRADUATION
After graduation, I’d like to be a professor and pass on my passions to students.

YOUR GIFT
Making art is an expensive endeavor, so this scholarship allows me to pursue my practice more fully with less financial obstacles.

Thank you for believing in the power of artists and believing in me to be a worthy recipient of that generosity. I wish to use the money in a way to make something meaningful to share with others to pass on this generosity.
