This is Fat Mac. He is pouring a large amount of carmel sauce onto his hot chocolate. He has earned the nickname Fat Mac because he came to the University of Oregon weighing over 350 pounds and enjoys eating sugary foods. He was one of the most resistant people to Thanksgiving as a team. He did not want to be there and missed his family a lot.

In this photo, our team is kneeling down listening to a former Oregon Football, Dave Wilcox, great address the team following our Thanksgiving day practice. #75 is Dallas Warmarck, #77 is George Moore, Back left is Coach Mirabal, and Back Center is Head Football Coach Mario Cristobal. The team is outside on the practice fields following our early morning Thanksgiving practice that players were not very excited about.

In this photo, our team is marching to the field having left the Mo Center, our indoor practice facility, moving to the outdoor practice fields. This photo was taken on Thanksgiving day approximately 9:00am for our early morning football practice prior to our team meal. The energy on the team was high this day as we prepared for the Civil War football game versus our rival Oregon State Univ.

This is Troy. He is the team’s startling linebacker. Here he is pictured pretending to smoke a cigar which is really a stick of cinnamon. As a third-year player, he is well accustomed to spending Thanksgiving away from home and took it upon himself to make the young freshmen feel like they are truly apart of the Oregon Football family, on a day that many people dread having to come to an organized team function.

To the left is Nick, and to the right is Cj. These two teammates are sophomores who have experienced their first Thanksgiving away from home. Here they are trying to lift the spirits of some of the tother players who were really struggling to adapt to a new way of life for the next four years on Thanksgiving. These two players are spirit-builders, always trying to boost team morale. Together, they enjoyed serving everyone whip cream and toppings on their hot chocolate.

To the left is Ajax, in the left middle in MJ, in the right middle Von, to the right Isaah. In this photo it displays the option of things that you could put on your hot Chocolate and also it shows everyone holding their cups. This photo features a group of our 4 freshmen who are all from out-of-town spending their first ever Thanksgiving away from home. They were definitely the more quiet students at the table as they have not yet gotten used to spending Thanksgiving away from their families.
