Dr. David Markowitz
My research examines how language reflects social and psychological dynamics. A lot of my work focuses on how deception affects language and communication processes, which has led to the creation of the Contextual Organization of Language and Deception (COLD) model.
I use computational approaches to gather and analyze language data, while also performing experiments to examine relationships between humans and technology.
