Before applying for scholarships, you must submit an application for admission to the University of Oregon. If you are already an enrolled student you can login to the UO Scholarship Dashboard with your DuckID and password.

The College of Education scholarship program provides a significant number of donor-supported awards to COE students. Most awards are from $1,500–$10,000. In 2023-24, approximately $1,020,000 was designated for student support. Scholarship decisions will be made prior to the end of March 2024.

Awards support various program areas for students ranging from sophomore year to doctoral candidates.

PLEASE NOTE:

Students currently applying for a COE academic program but not yet accepted at the time of the deadline should still submit their scholarship application for consideration, pending acceptance into the program. In order to gain access to the COE scholarship application, you must first have applied for admission at the University of Oregon.

International students and those not able to file a FAFSA are eligible for COE scholarships.

Financial Need is a requirement in order to be considered for many scholarships.  You must submit a FAFSA, ORSAA or Financial Resource Form by the scholarship application deadline if you want your financial need to be assessed with your scholarship application.  You may use one of the following three options:

• The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is an online application for students who are US citizens, Legal Permanent Residents (LPRs) or other eligible non-citizens: http://www.fafsa.gov

• The ORSAA (Oregon Student Aid Application) is an alternative to the FAFSA for Dreamer students including students who have Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status or Temporary Protected Status (TPS) as well as other undocumented students: https://osacsnapprod.regenteducation.net/

• The Financial Resource Form is for International students with a valid student visa. This form must be submitted directly to the Office of International Affairs: https://isss.uoregon.edu/sites/isss1.uoregon.edu/files/20170814_financia…

In addition to maintaining academic standing and serving as representatives of the college, students receiving COE scholarships are encouraged to:

  • Meet with the dean, development officer, and scholarship committee as requested.
  • Maintain contact with living donor.
