The City of Eugene is home to plentiful urban natural resources and engaged residents. We were lucky to benefit from the presence and knowledge of many. In particular, Chelsea Clinton and Caitlin Estes with the city’s Office of Sustainability provided us an opportunity to develop our consulting skills and get to know our home more intimately. Others were kind enough to lend their time to tours, events, and guidance. We would like to show our gratitude to all of the following – this project would not have been possible without you:
Chelsea Clinton and Caitlin Estes, City of Eugene
Peg Boulay and Katie Lynch, Environmental Leadership Program at the University of Oregon
Kaelyn Polick-Kirkpatrick, Project Manager
Rebekah Puppo, Logo Designer
Cimmeron Gillespie at Zero Waste, for providing a tour of the Zero Waste Facility on campus
Lauri Holts, City of Eugene, for providing a tour of the Delta Ponds
Mike McCann and Chris Taylor with EWEB, for providing a tour or Leaburg Dam
Grassroots Garden
Metamorphose and Saint Vincent de Paul
The Eugene Marathon
The ASUO Street Faire
BRING Recycling
Kelly Bell, Master Recycler Program, Lane County
This project was made possible through generous funding from the Robert and Catherine Miller Foundation.
