Enable Shell Access

To upload the web pages you create in CIS 110 to the uoregon.edu server, you must be able to login to the server. This requires “shell access.”

By default, shell access is disabled on uoregon.edu

IMPORTANT: You must enable Shell Access to your uoregon.edu account BEFORE your week 1 lab.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Open http://duckid.uoregon.edu
2. Login using your DuckID username and password (same as for Blackboard)
3. Select Manage Optional Account Access
4. Select Update Optional Account Access.
5. Click Logout

Shell access is now enabled.
