Hello Readers!!
I wanted to include a small post about Florence Lawrence – who is correlated with the birth of the star system and one of the first stars to be known for her name. In lecture we briefly touched on IMP’s role as a production company regarding a streetcar accident and her fictional death being turned into a marketing strategy. I was hungry for more information and I found this awesome ten minute documentary on YouTube and I wanted to share for those that are interested in the story as well! I hope you enjoy – I thought this was really well done.
