Should India implement a child limit?

     India is one of the most populated countries in the world with over 1.34 billion people. As it is ranked second most populous country after China, studies and research has projected that India will be the world’s most populous country soon to come, surpassing China, by 2025.

     Today, overpopulation in India is causing a crisis of problems. An increasing population will quickly use up the limited resources the country has, medical conditions are getting worse and diseases are spreading faster, and more and more Indian civilians are living below the poverty line.

     There are many causes of overpopulation that has occurred in countries such as India, fortunately however, there are solutions to this issue. This issue at hand being overpopulation, one solution that has been proven effective and is one that many are willing to try is the implementation of having a child limit.
