Catherine Hsu

I am a sixth-year graduate student in the Mathematics Department at the University of Oregon. My advisor is Ellen Eischen, and my research area is algebraic number theory. In particular, I am interested in modular forms and congruences of modular forms as well as Euclidean ideals and systems.

Prior to moving to the University of Oregon,  I earned a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I also received a Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics and completed in a minor in Computational and Applied Mathematics as an undergraduate at Rice University.
