Catherine Hsu

I recently completed my PhD in Mathematics at the University of Oregon under the supervision of Ellen Eischen. My research area is algebraic number theory. In particular, I am interested in congruences between modular forms as well as Euclidean ideals and systems. Starting in the Fall of 2018, I will be a Heilbronn Research Fellow at the University of Bristol.

Prior to moving to the University of Oregon,  I earned a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I also received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and completed in a minor in Computational and Applied Mathematics as an undergraduate at Rice University.
