Presenting Our Case

I thought it was very useful and beneficial for our team to present what we believed was an area LCB should focus on to improve the experience for students. This presentation made it so we knew exactly what our point was in this project, which will allow us to move forward. I am excited to get feedback so we can use that to better our project going forward. I was a little nervous to present in front of the class, but I also was happy to give our opinion on the subject and test out my presentation skills. I was satisfied with how I myself and our group did on this presentation, but we all believe we can do better. My part of the presentation was efficient and got to the point I was trying to make, but I am assuming I could have spoke more clearly and organized my words in a more efficient way. There was some improvising that took place in order to bulk up my part and I was proud of myself doing that without stuttering or jumbling my words up. The next step for us will be doing more research to get to the bottom of this problem so we can obtain the best possible solution. We plan to meet at least twice before Wednesday to get our proposal as ready as possible.

Our team has made some good progress in our meetings, but we also know we could be more focused and eliminate many of the side conversations. I have done a good job of speaking my mind on issues and bringing my ideas to the table when I feel necessary. I am a  little nervous for peer reviews, not because of being reviewed myself, but instead reviewing others in my group as giving criticism is not my strong point. The good part about that is it will let me work on this skill and better myself. I am excited to continue working on our project and find a solution that we believe in.
