On Thursday, Sept 10 there will be some Blackboard maintenance from 5am PDT until 7am PDT. There will be a complete service outage during the first 10-20 minutes. During this time the latest Cumulative Update and building blocks will be installed.

Blackboard will be unavailable for maintenance of the database servers on August 25, 2015 from 5am PDT until no later than 7am PDT.

Update: The maintenance is complete.

There will be some Blackboard maintenance on Saturday, May 23 from 8am until 10am. During this time some building block updates will be installed on the system. There will be no changes in the way Blackboard works.

There will be no downtime during this maintenance.

There will be Blackboard Maintenance on Saturday February 21 from 8am PST until 10am. There is no down time expected.

During this time several building block updates will be installed. The most important one fixes the issue with comments in blogs and journals.

There will be Blackboard maintenance this Saturday, February 7 from 8am-10pm PST. During this time cumulative update 1 will be installed to fix several issues including some problems with printing.

There will be no downtime during this maintenance.

There will be emergency maintenance on Thursday morning starting at 5am PST until 6am PST to install a patch to fix a caching  problem. This problem can cause periodic system slowness. No downtime is expected during this maintenance.

The maintenance for 12/29/2014 is now complete. We are now running the October 2014 release of Blackboard.

There will be more maintenance from 5am PST until 7am PST for an upgrade to the database.
