This blog catalogues the ongoing development a proposal for a new building sited in Lents, Oregon. It is envisioned as a place that serves the community and city, by bringing together the trappings of physical production under one roof. A Maker-space.
An affordable membership fee allows access to wood and metal-working shops, as well as flexible yet-to–determined workspaces. The shop space is co-located with small-business incubation services, presenting an opportunity for members to actualize their skills into livelihoods.
The booklet describes a distilled vision of my thesis project in the making.
