  • Provides knowledge, articles, and examples of the steps American cities are taking to become more sustainable. Some of the methods documented include traffic solutions, green buildings, and smart grid infrastructure. This information with be useful and applicable to our EcoDistrict projects.

City of Portland – Your Sustainable City

  • Provides an overall picture of what Portland is doing as a whole to become more sustainable and preserve our planet.  There are links to information and methods of how to do your own part on an individual scale and articles on current projects, events, and plans to improve the city.

Portland Plan

  • The Portland Plan is just that, a plan for the city of Portland. Although the previous source had information on how to do your part and what actions the city is taking, this site takes it to a whole new level with detailed 5 year and 25 year plans.
