Above I have compiled my first-pass at design aspirations for this thesis project. I am interested in designing a building that can contribute to success on all three fronts of the triple bottom line. Building an environment that benefits people, planet, and profit is a very general goal, but through the lenses of nimble small-business support, flexible space planning, and scenario buffering I hope to generate a convincing narrative that more specifically addresses the needs of residents and producers in the Foster Green / Lents neighborhoods.
