Hello, this blog will chronicle my thinking and progress during my terminal thesis project under Nancy Cheng at the White Stag building in Portland.  The goal of this terminal is to develop an Ecodistrict design.  I’m particularly interested in dovetailing my interests in very energy efficient design at the building level (ex: Passive House) with the district level efficiencies possible in an Ecodistrict along with exploring the question of how much intervention is needed in developing an Ecodistrict to induce systemic change.
