In this simplified map of the Los Angeles metro line, it is clear that there are 3 stops within walking distance of the site. Most notably, the Hollywood/Vine metro station is located adjacent to the site which provides access to downtown as well as Universal City, North Hollywood, etc. Residents are able to live on Hollywood Blvd and enjoy the benefits of night life and entertainment, while maintaining jobs and other opportunities in downtown LA without the use of cars. In turn, this would reduce the need for personal vehicles and therefore parking in the Hollywood area. This resource makes the site ideal for an EcoDistrict with ease of access to efficient public transportation.
