I began thinking about what kind of civic building I could utilize keeping in mind the site’s adjacency to public transit, parking, and the potential for new commercial and residential development.  In doing some research, I came across the idea of adding a public market place, similar to Pike’s Place Market in Seattle.  It seems that this has been a project in the process of getting off the ground for a while now, and I would love the opportunity to add my ideas in to the mix.
