Tuesday, July 5, 2011
· Evening: Arrive in Beijing and transfer via coach bus to hotel
The group will be housed at NE Hotel Bejing. This is a classical and traditional Chinese architecture hotel. It is located in the Dongsi area within the city center and is very convenient for local public transportation.
Wednesday, July 6, 2011
· Morning: Breakfast at the hotel followed by CIS Orientation by Maria, CIS Beijing Director
· Language Instruction (2)
· Day: City tour including Tian’an men Square and Forbidden City
· Evening: Welcome Dinner at King Roast Duck Restaurant
Thursday, July 7, 2011 – Monday, July 11, 2011
· Morning: Breakfast at hotel
· Language Instruction on 7/7 (1), 7/8 (1), 7/10 (2)
Day: Class time (space available 3 days per week in hotel for group meeting); Ground transportation available each day for the group for fieldwork in Jiangou.
*Please note, Sunday will be a debrief day – no transportation will be included.

Day: Class time (space available 3 days per week in hotel for group meeting); Ground transportation available each day for the group for fieldwork in Song Zhuang.

· Day: Farewell lunch at Xiyuan (Revolving Restaurant)
· Evening: Coach transfer to airport for those heading home
