Business Cards

Exchanging business card in China is common practice. If you have business cards we encourage you to bring them. If not, and you have the time and inclination to have some printed consider doing so. One side of the card in English and the other in simplified Chinese is desirable. Business cards are presented and received with two hands. It is best to be standing up when the exchange occurs. Take the time to read the card before putting it away.

    I would like to get some cards printed. Would one of the students who speaks Mandarin be willing to point me to a sample of a good card for students in Mandarin? Also would I write my name in characters or in roman letters?
