Invasive Species in Oregon

By: Bryan Dorn

Invasive species are non-native plants, animals, or fungi that pose a high threat to the economy and ecosystem. Invasive species have been threatening the biodiversity of ecosystems around the world for decades. Annually invasive species cost the US 137$ Billion in land damage. These invaders have homogenized forests by etching out native species and dominating the ecosystem. There is no single solution to the invasive species issue.
