Joy

I think Joy does a great job at material and form. “It’s what you do here,”  he does great in solving fundamental problems with simple and elegant moves like his treatment were the roof meets wall to disallow the formation of icicles.  It makes a statement to the form while also solving a problem.

I think by simply solving the fundamentals of a design problem he allows himself greater freedom to experiment with his designs, and probably yields a more successful outcome in the end.
