Are  you able to  design an ecologically inspired art of building in the Age of Ecology in your present studio?

I agree with most everyone on this one. Yes, I do think it is possible to design an ecologically inspired building in studio. In studio currently, I’ve been slightly pushed towards including environmental systems in my design.  Ultimately I think that it is up to the designer to fulfill this criteria.  I think there is an important differentiation between a building designed from ecological ideals and a building designed with environmentally ‘friendly’ attributes.  Wines makes the difference very clear in his text.  It is most important to design with these principles already embedded , then comes the form.  Like Wine refers to in the text, as modernists designed for the machine age, we design to merge architecture and nature.
