In this class we learned about an elevator pitch, how to do a proper handshake and learned from a local business owner. I was most engaged in this class when we practiced our handshakes. I didn’t know that I came in a little too fast in my handshake so it was very helpful feedback as that is one of the most important things you can do when you first introduce yourself. I also learned what an elevator pitch was, I had never heard of that before this class but now that I know how to properly serve one up I feel like I have a better tool to help people get to know me even better and have a connection with someone in a short amount of time. All these tools were very helpful at the job fair and in the future.
