“Spending time with people that I don’t normally get to see and being grateful for what you have” – Emma

“A holiday about a man who came and killed hundreds of innocent people and took all of their land” –Emma

 

How do you see power within our culture? -Maddy

“The most power I see comes from money. In this society, money is power” Emma

 

When do you think is the most important time to come together? -Maddy

“It’s always important to work together, but at times like this when our country is in so much chaos I would say now is the most important time for us all to come together.” – Emma

 

Does power ever hinder you and how? -Maddy

“I wouldn’t say directly, but thinking about how the University is set up, the president of the university just raised our tuition because he can, and that’s causes financial stress.” – Emma
