Artifact #7:
Reflection:
This image is a collage of various images and pictures that represent keywords that you feel opitomize what it means to be an artist. This is why I have included it into this section of the portfolio. The various keywords that the images associate with are actor and hometown. The collage has multiple characters or actors present in the image. Many believe that there are different types of artists and that actors fall into this category.
The other keyword that associate the images with is hometown. Most artist have strong connections with where they are from. The experiences that an artist gets from their hometown have influenced and shaped an artists viewpoint. And that means influences their art work. This artifact is included into this section of the portfolio because it represents how images can be joined together or remixed as well.
In the future, I would like to learn more about how remixing and copyright laws and regulations will effect the future and be successful. In the article Remix the author states, “RO culture will flourish; more culture will be accessible more cheaply than at any point in human history”. I think that this is true but the author does not provide any example to back up the claim. In what ways will libraries and their content will be more accessible?
