Project managers of ideas and people, budgets, timelines, and art coordination:
Pamella Herring (Project Manager & Art Director)
Hi there! My name is Pamela Herring, and I am a Senior here at UO. I’ve had quite the journey so far in my academic and professional career, but now I am confident in my choice with choosing to pursue Project Management. I’ve always been extremely creative – I have bright memories being in 5th grade and looking forward to working on our monthly art project, and sitting in my room starting at the Rodda paint swatch booklet and coming up with my own color palettes. Being attracted to art and design at such a young age pushed me to believe that Art Direction was the right path for me, but I realized that these interests were things that I enjoyed as a hobby rather than a career path. Management seemed like a great route for me, as I’d be working with all of the different disciplines within an ad agency, and am a sucker for organization, making me a great fit as a Project Manager.
Molly Jenkins (Producer)
I am a community builder. My strengths lie in my ability to listen to people and develop relationships that turn into community. I believe that individuals need confidence in order to happily succeed and the best kind on confidence comes from genuine support from a solid home base (community).
Lily Teague (Producer & Project Manager)
I was adopted into a very creative family. I was raised by two artists. I was taught about the world around me literally through the lense of a camera, whether I was in front or behind it. I was taught about seeing through other peoples lenses, by watching important films. And looking through other peoples eyes when looking at art pieces. From a young age the importance of art and expression through visual mediums was engrained in me. This has brought me to stand firmly in the belief that art should be cherished and that beauty can save the world.
Demetrius Wallace (Project Manager)
I am a strategic and detail-oriented marketer with experience developing brands, growing audiences, building relationships, and event planning. I aspire to do work that brings people together around shared experiences and connections.
Kacie Wilson (Producer & Project Manager)
I’m helpful at heart, I like cats and dogs equally, and I have a bunch of random wine knowledge. In another life I think I’d want to own a farm to table restaurant, but being a great project manager makes me happy too.
My creative drive led me to videography, design, art direction, computer science – basically every little thing in between. I was happy doing all of them, but I saw myself being most helpful as a project manager where my experience adapting and keeping a level head are just a few strengths I’m proud of.
