Photographers & Videographers

Advanced photo / video editing and production:

Maddie Anderson (Videographer, Editor & Producer)

I’ve always been drawn to action-packed, fast-paced environments. I thrive on telling stories under pressure and tight deadlines. I found my place in the world of sports media and am working every day to better the content I make in that realm. I do projects outside of this sports bubble to keep myself learning and growing as much as I can as well. I can shoot, edit, produce, direct – just about anything you would want from a cameraman… and I love every second of it.

Makenna Crocker (Video Editor)

I am a double major in advertising and dance with a minor in African studies! My interests and skillsets are broad and exciting. I am in love with life and belief in the power of humor with human connection! I am fairly new but skilled in video editing, but am not a stranger to great storytelling! I am heavily drawn to visual art and moving people.

Elliot Hodgin (Photographer, Producer & Project Manager)

I am at the crossroads of tough love and empathetic, making me the perfect project manager. I am undeniably organized (look at my Pinterest for proof.) In my free time, I enjoy concert photography across all genres; acoustic, punk, rap, metal, pop and hope to continue to work on it in my free time throughout my graduated life. My two big beliefs are that (1) everyone is a creative and (2) Doc Martens are business casual.

Meg Matsuzaki (Photographer, Videographer & Designer)

My area of speciality is in visual storytelling and multimedia. I am a part of two student-run publications on campus, Ethos Magazine and Envision Journalism, both of which blend my interests and majors (environmental studies and advertising). My role within these groups is to produce visual stories through the use of different media such as photography, videography and graphic design. Long-term, I am interested in working with videography, branding and printed matter that’s driven by storytelling.

Owen Schatz (Videographer & Editor)

I am a videographer and editor, hoping to one day be a filmmaker.

Celest Solis (Videographer, Editor, Producer & Project Manager)

Celest Solis is someone who can be asked to do anything, even if she has no idea how to do it, she will give it her all. When someone can’t make it to the shoot she is there to step in to hold the boom mic, shoot the interview, or edit when her team has too much on their plate. She thrives off of collaboration, problem solving, and learning new skills. Her passions are storytelling, videography, and working with people to reach a final product. Alongside that she loves to try new recipes, bake banana bread, and drink good coffee!

Adam Spencer (Videographer, Photographer, Producer & Project Manager)

Adam uses media to help people connect to nature. He has searched for tortoises with biologists on the Galápagos Islands, harvested medicine with curanderos in the Bolivian Amazon, and filmed endangered monkeys in the jungles of Equatorial Guinea. He served as the co-President of Filmmakers for Conservation, engaging conservationists to use storytelling techniques to translate their research. He has researched documentaries for the National Geographic Channel, taught underwater photography for National Geographic Student Expeditions, and led night tours at the Smithsonian National Zoo. For the last four years, Adam led research expeditions in Patagonia, searching for Chile’s endangered national animal. He is a leader and a resonator with a good heart and a keen eye for beauty, turning to the advertising industry to build movements that protect the planet and restore the human soul.
