PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
For my magazine print cover and layout, I chose to do it on the Don Ford pictures offered. I really liked them and thought they were incredibly genuine and I felt like I was in the pictures. I wanted the layout to be simple and not too much for the viewer to become confused about what the main focus was. I tried connecting all the colors together and only provided a short and sweet header of: “Don Ford, tales of a drug smuggling cowboy”. I wanted the font to catch the eye and I felt that white ink would be great to spot on the magazine. My hardest decision for this magazine was choosing which font looked best on the cover. There are way too many good fonts offered and it was hard to choose which one was the most flattering. I had no trouble with creating the inside magazine pages of the layout, I copied basically all of my wireframe layout and knew exactly what and where I wanted to put all the pictures and the story of Don Ford.
