Technology: Game
Before watching this video, I would never have a positive thought on games and game players. To be honest, I once have thought that games players were wasting time and live on games. One important thing that I have learned from this video is that game players tend to do teamwork when they are in game. As Jane McGonigal said in the video, “When we play a game, we tackle tough challenges with more creativity, more determination, more optimism, and we’re more likely to reach out to others for help”. As individual, a person would never ask others for help or probably would never feel good about him or herself. However, when a person is playing a role in the game, it helps them to gain confidence and to learn to collaborate with others to achieve success.

it’s convenient to utilize technology to make an art work perfect. Technology is an additional plus for art work, based on what we already had of handcraft. However, it may goes so far when we over focus on or rely on what the technology can do, which makes us lose the original thought and inspiration of art. I also like your question that, “I am wondering how many 10,000 hours in people’s lives, and curious if gamers spend these times to do other things, what they are going to be?” I think it is good question to think about since McGonigal emphasizes on what we can do by the hours we playing games, but ignores maybe we can utilize those hours better by doing other things instead of playing games.
