Katrina Larrabee, Laureli

The Laureli ring consists of eight laurel leaves wrapping around a wavy band in a free-flowing motion. The laurel leaves connect to the Olympic wreath, which is a symbol of victory and honor. The leaves are each uniquely and carefully shaped, the previous one not like the next. The band has a slight wavy flow to it, which adds movement and a hint of playfulness to the ring. In the center of each laurel leaf, there is a small vein that runs mostly vertically through the leaf, leaving room for color to flow inside. The blue color in the leaves symbolizes calmness and a sense of stability. It is worn on the ring finger as a tribute to creativity, beauty and love.
