Drawings Assignment: (please post a paragraph response to blog category “1.1 axon“)
Think about a location in front of a building address to draw  a unit axonLinks to an external site.. Think about light neutral greyscale for background and then types of visualization of 1) social data and 2) environmental data like sound, air, light, smell that will be in color but ephemeral and either glow, blur or fade. You may invent the data for now.

Rhino and Illustrator – Grasshopper not needed. Can you think about housing or jobs data and it might reveal patterns about under represented groups?

Research Writing Assignment: (please post a paragraph response to blog category “1.1 research”)

Research Housing and or Jobs related problems as related to underrepresented urban groups. Forthcoming locations suggestions from TriMet and the City of Eugene but you should research on your own as well.

The Whiteaker is a great example in Eugene. Blair Boulevard between 6th and 7th Avenues (latino)

North Willamette is another area undergoing significant change. (though not very ethnically diverse?) Sundance?
