Love & Information

12-16 actors playing over 100 different people.

Saturday, October 11th – 1pm-4pm – Hope Theatre

Sign up for a time on Saturday. Come prepared with a very brief monologue (less than one minute) that you can perform twice with two different characterizations*  Come prepared to play!

It will help you to choose a fairly neutral text. Avoid demeaning stereotypes, in terms of gender, race, age, class, national origin, sexual orientation. Do not bring props or costume items. Do not rely on dialect. Instead, focus on bringing out two very different and authentic sides to yourself – altering voice, physicality, objective, tactics, rhythms, emotional arc – whatever you can do simply and clearly for contrasting characterization.

CALLBACKS will be held on Sunday, October 12th, starting at 2pm and will involve multiple paired readings and characterization challenges.

SCRIPTS available in the front office (Villard 216) for two-hour check-out.
