* Prepare a contemporary monologue not to exceed 2 minutes

Becky Morgan/Violetta- Early 30s ; famous writer of Young Adult Fiction Novels looking to move beyond that mold.
Harry Morgan- in his 70s; Becky’s grandfather and a successful newspaper publisher; encourages her to write more thought provoking stories.
Madeleine- mid- late teens; a fictional character and the heroine of Becky/Violetta’s stories.
Bode- mid to late teens; Madeleine’s side kick and love interest.
Veronica- 30s; Becky/ Violetta’s new creation, a Chicago socialite from the 1930s and someone who solves mysteries.
