Netsec is a Research group that specializes in network security. Established in 2002 by professor Jun Li the organization has been researching a variety of topics that deal with the safety of privacy and the security of people. These projects include:

 

  • Buddyguard:
    Reliable Detection of IP Prefix Hijacking (and Other Prefix-Level Anomalies).
  • DNS Security:
    DNS Security Investigation and Monitoring.
  • Humboldt:
    Active Phishing Disruption.
  • SWORD:
    Self-propagating Worm Observation and Rapid Detection.
  • IRF:
    Internet Routing Forensics.
  • mSSL: :
    Protected and Incentivized Peer-to-Peer Data Sharing Between Distrusted and Selfish Clients.
  • SAVE:
    Internet Source Address Validity Enforcement.
