WJ Skatepark + Urban Plaza
A Little Backstory –
The WJ Skatepark + Urban Plaza was opened in Eugene, OR under the I-105 bridge on April 4th, 2014. The 23,000 square foot park has been a dream of the Eugene community since the early 90s. Now open to the public, all ages are welcome to skate from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the bridge overhead allows skating rain or shine. The park is also expecting to host skateboarding competitions in the future to bring in skaters from around the world. As the largest undercover skatepark in the United States, the WJ Skatepark + Urban Plaza is an attraction to be enjoyed by not only Oregonians, but anyone from anywhere. Check around the site for more information about the development of the park as well as real skater testimonials.
