Yesterday, we did it, we created “Sanctuary”, a performance. I am so grateful to each of the artists, the tech crew, the production crew, my students, performance witnesses, museum staff and my director, D’Lo. This was a powerful and deeply moving event. Today, I am sitting with the joy and profound reverberations produced by this piece. Two years in the making, it came alive yesterday.
