Take Back the Night 2020 – Collective Healing at a Distance

The UO Women’s Center’s “Take Back the Night 2020 – Collective Healing at a Distance” begins TONIGHT at 6pm! Links to our Virtual Rally Speakers will be posted on Instagram, Facebook and our blogs.uoregon.edu/women every night 4/27-4/30 at 6pm! UO ID required to view Rally Speaker videos.

Please note: There will NOT be a Take Back the Night Speak Out this year. However, additional programming will be provided by the student organization Organization Against Sexual Assault (OASA) via Zoom following the Take Back the Night Virtual March on Thursday 4/30 at 7pm. Again, that will be a student-led discussion space and NOT a Speak Out. Please follow @uo_oasa on Instagram for more information.

This is a survivor-centered movement and a sacred space. We will not tolerate or engage with any actions which seek to disrespect that.

Red Zone Sexual Violence Awareness Campaign!

THIS SUNDAY the Women’s Center and Volunteers will place 3,250 red flags on campus in the Condon Lawn off 13th that represent the number of students who, based on a university our size, will be harmed by sexual violence during the school year. The first six weeks of the school year have a heightened risk for sexual violence – this time is known as The Red Zone.

Please help us set up on Sunday, October 20th beginning at 12pm and tear down on Sunday, October 27th beginning at 12pm!

SIGN UPS: Red Zone Sign Ups

*Please note that all Volunteers will be required to sign a Volunteer Release Form in order to participate. Forms will be provided at the event.
