About ELP

________________________________________________________

The University of Oregon Environmental Leadership Program is an interdisciplinary program hinged on community involvement and engagement in local environmental issues and developments.

Organized by ELP Co-Director Peg Boulay, this year’s Conservation Science in Action projects include Climate Solutions, Restoration and Research, and Wildlife and Parks.

ELP consists of two consecutive terms. During Winter, students learn different environmental monitoring and management methods, and develop their project plans. During Spring, students apply methods and plans in the field toward their projects with our community partners.
